Our featured artist this week is the German photographer Carsten Bogler.
While working as a neuroscientist, he also describes his photographic work as a kind of research but with different tools. „I am mostly interested in distance and configurations that result from human interaction with the city/landscape that seem strange and that I don’t fully understand“ But his aim is not to understand but rather document what he is finding. After a longer photographic break his work is becoming more and more minimal. Not least through Instagram.
